I use Darcs for revision control because it's simple but flexible.
To download the source code of any project listed below, download and install Darcs. Then you can run the command:
darcs get http://nothingmuch.woobling.org/<repo_name> (darcs get and the URI of a project)and you will have a copy of the repository in your local directory. To commit changes use darcs record and then send to me using darcs send. See the Darcs manual for more details.
The repositories are listed with the time since the last commit. You can subscribe to an RSS feed of all activity.

Most of the modules from CPAN author directory are maintained here.
